You quietly got all your things and went outside of your classroom, a familiar person waited by the door.

You smiled cheekily as you got out of the room, earning a nod from the person waiting for you. The both of you began walking towards the exit of the building, with you starting conversations here and there.

The person you were with was the Karasuno volleyball team's setter, Kageyama Tobio. The both of you had been friends ever since childhood and had started hanging out once more just a year ago.

The setter always had a grumpy look on his face, in contrast with your cheerful demeanor. It sort of bothered people when you were with the male, but it was all right for you.

Although secretly, you had been crushing on him for almost a year now, and it seemed like hanging out was the only thing you could do to just get closer to him.

So everyday, every time you were dismissed in class, the both of you would always go together to wherever you or he was headed.

Now, Kageyama was heading towards the volleyball courts with you, when a certain orange-haired male tapped both of you in the shoulder and made you both look behind you.

"Tell me the truth, Kageyama..." started the male you knew as Hinata. Kageyama looked annoyed already.

"What about?"

You and Kageyama looked at each other cluelessly, as Hinata giggled. He pointed at the both of you, silently snickering to himself, so as not to anger the King of the Court.

"You tell me that you and _______-chan aren't together, but by looking at how CLOSE the both of you are standing next to each other, you both are."

The both of your eyes widened, and looked at each other once more. This time, Kageyama looked really pissed.

"We're not together!!"

He shouted at Hinata, the shorter male covering his ears and ran to the gym first, with you hearing his snickering.

You stood there with a small smile on your face, and faced back. You looked beside you and Kageyama wasn't beside you anymore. He decided to go on to the gym without you, and that was perfectly fine. Since you weren't with him anyway.

As you walked away, you noticed how Kageyama denied that the two of you were a thing almost immediately. You felt blood rushing to your face, and you shook your head to get rid of it.

Maybe you were just overthinking it.

But on Kageyama's case, as he walked away, his face slowly turned red, and he had to cover his face with his hands just to cover the growing blush on his face.
