Strawberry Shortcake || Tsukishima Kei x Reader

You were slowly rushing to the cafeteria, a smile plastered on your features. It was lunch time and almost everyone was out of their classrooms, either in the cafeteria or just outside in the school grounds. You hummed to yourself as you approached the cafeteria, but stopped once you saw that the line was getting long.

Line to what, exactly? Well, let's just say that it was the line to the thing you loved the most.

Cake.

You quickly ran to the line and huffed when you saw that the cake of your choice was still there. Once you got to the front, you ordered your favorite, and secretly smiled as the last slice was given to you. You felt very lucky and you pranced around, not minding the looks some of your peers were giving you. 

You looked around for an empty seat. A table was vacant nearby, so you ran towards it and sat down. You looked at your cake and licked your lips. Finally, you were going to eat the cake you've been craving for. 

"Eh Tsukki? Wasn't she the one who got the last strawberry shortcake?"

Your eyes darted around your area, finding the owner of the voice. 

"Ah. It's our classmate."

You recognized that voice, and your eyes landed on two boys slowly approaching you. You were surprised that they would approach you like this, since you didn't really talk that much in class. 

A tall blonde-haired male covered your line of vision, and directed his eye contact on yours. The both of you stared at each other for a while before you decided to break it. 

"W-would you like to sit here?"

You asked shyly, looking away from the tall male and his friend. The male soffed and sat down on the seat across you, his companion taking the one beside you. 

"I see that you're very shy, but you're not all that shy, aren't you?"

said the tall male. His friend smirked a bit, and you looked at the male. 

"And so?"

you retorted, earning a smug look from the male across you. 

"Ooh so you're not the shy type."

You looked at the male, quite offended. You didn't really mind the friend beside him, but you did recognize the both of them.

Tsukishima Kei and Yamaguchi Tadashi from your class. Tsukishima was the one who gave you the smug look. 

"So what if I'm not?"

you said, placing your fork on the cake. You took a slice from your cake, and ate it. Tsukishima looked conflicted when you put the cake slice in your mouth, and you noticed. 

"Ah~ so 'Tsukki' is conflicted, huh."

you said, smugly taking another piece of cake in your mouth. You eyed Yamaguchi, who looked at Tsukishima with worry. Tsukishima glared at you, for which reason you didn't know. 

"Don't call me 'Tsukki', Miss Not-the-shy-type."

You didn't mind his words and kept eating the cake, with both boys just watching you. Honestly, you thought it was weird. You smiled to yourself when you glanced at Tsukishima, who looked even more conflicted. You sighed as you bit another piece, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi watching your every move. The dark-haired male's eyes widened when he saw bits of cake left at the side of your mouth.

"Do you want some cake, Mr. I have a bad personality?"

Your eyes locked with Tsukishima and you looked away, not noticing a small blush creeping to your cheeks. The next action that the rude male did surprised you. He leaned towards you, and collided his lips with yours. 

Yamaguchi's eyes widened when he saw his friend kissing you. "T-Tsukki?!"

You closed your eyes, forgetting that the blush on your cheeks grew and grew. When Tsukishima pulled away, your eyes were wide. Yamaguchi looked away from the scene and pretended that the windows were much more interesting. Tsukishima licked his lips and gave you a dirty look.

"W-what did you do that for, Tsukishima-kun?!"

The male across you snorted once he saw the enormous blush on your cheeks. You put your hands on your eyes as you tried to calm yourself, not looking at the cake on the table that was slowly being devoured by the male. 

"There was cake on your lips so I decided to clean it for you, Ms. I-have a big blush on my face."

said Tsukishima, finishing the cake for you before standing up to leave. His friend followed him and the both of them left you as red as a strawberry.

Tsukishima glanced back at you then went towards you once more, Yamaguchi trailing behind him. You looked at the male walking to you and you puffed your cheeks. As he went beside you, the next thing you knew was fainting. 

"I find you interesting. And that's for taking the last strawberry shortcake, (nickname)-chan."
