Indirect Kisses and Water Fountains

||Makoto Tachibana x Reader||

"Hey ______! He's right there!" 

You looked at the direction your friends were pointing at and blushed. They were pointing at the one boy you've noticed since middle school. The very boy you had your eyes on for some time. The VERY boy who made your insides go all wonky whenever you see him.

Makoto Tachibana. 

"Go on, _____! Make your move!" 

Your friends elbowed you, not realising that they did it PRETTY hard. You lost your balance and as a result, your books fell on the floor along with you. You eyed your friends with a glare and saw them prance along the hallways and into the stairway, leaving you behind with your scattered books on the floor. 

Sighing, you picked up your books quietly before you saw someone hold out one of your books for you. You looked up and blushed a bright red when you saw who it was. 

Makoto Tachibana.

"Hi ____. I thought you needed help so I-" 

You stood up, getting the book from his grasp and turned. You felt your insides flip at the sound of his voice. He blinked at your actions and heard you mumble a 'thank you' before you left. He smiled and then went off to a water fountain to drink. 

You glanced back and saw that no one was going to drink from the water fountain he just drank from. You ran towards it, holding your books tightly so that it wont fall. Knowing that your friends were just somewhere near, you shrugged off the feelings and drank from the water fountain. 

You blushed as you drank from it and then ran off. Your mind was all fuzzy and your stomach probably had butterflies flying in it. With a smile on your face, you ran back to your classroom and met up with your friends, who were surprisingly, in the classroom not spying on you or anything. 

Little did you know that a little demon was watching you as you ran to and from the water fountain.

"Hey hey, Mako-chan~ Haru-chan~"

Nagisa popped up from behind Makoto and Haruka as they walked towards the swimming club's destination. Makoto looked at Nagisa and then smiled. Haruka glanced behind him and grunted before he saw the water. Rei was probably there waiting for the remaining members of the club to come along. 

Makoto eyed Nagisa with a curious look. "You look like you found out a secret, Nagisa." said Makoto, not out of the blue. Nagisa smirked mischievously and dragged Makoto to a corner. "You're going to like what I'm going to tell you, Mako-chan~" 

Makoto sighed. "It better not be about those ghost stories you've been hearing from your classmates.." Nagisa laughed before he faced you. He gave Makoto his mischievous look and whispered. 

"It's about ______~" 

Makoto's face looked like it had red paint splattered all over it. "W-what about her?" stuttered Makoto, fumbling with his fingers. Nagisa let out a 'he he he' laugh. "She got your kiss~"

If you look at Makoto's face, you'd probably think that he's currently having a fever. "My kiss?" Nagisa shook his head and laughed. "Your indirect kiss, Mako-chan." Haruka appeared behind the duo, looking over at Makoto's face and Nagisa's mischievous look. "Something's up. Tell me." 

And after that little sharing, Makoto's face had defeated the redness of a tomato.

"_____-chan~" 

You looked towards the sound of your name and was surprised when you saw who it was. Your friends eyed you suspiciously, and pat you hard at the back. Your classmates eyed the boy calling your name, because he had been calling you God knows how many times. 

"What is it, Nagisa?" you asked. You had a feeling that he was planning something devious, but you shrugged it away. You didn't have any trust issues with the guy, so...

Before saying anything, Nagisa pulled you from your classroom and led you to the water fountain you drank from days ago. You blushed lightly at the memory, still fresh in your brain. You saw Nagisa's eyes glint of deviousness, but it was only for merely half a second so, you didn't mind it. 

You were surprised by what he said after he dragged you to the water fountain. "Drink~" he said. You eyed him suspiciously, then looked around. Seeing nobody was around, you drank from the water fountain, with Nagisa's watchful eye on you. 

If someone was in your shoes at the moment, it was weird having a guy watch you drink water. 

"Great! Now I'll just-" Nagisa ran off before he finished his sentence, leaving you behind. As you left, Nagisa came back, dragging another person to the fountain. This time, the person he was dragging was complaining. 

"H-hey Nagisa! Calm down!" said the oh-so familiar voice you adored. Following the duo was a familiar looking boy you knew. The both of you were childhood friends so it wasn't awkward when you both saw each other. 

Now, you turned your eyes to Nagisa and the person he dragged. You watched from a close distance and Nagisa saw you. He told you to stay put before he talked to the person in front of the water fountain. 

It was Makoto Tachibana. 

So many questions were on your mind when you saw that he was in front of the water fountain. "Oh my god is he going to-" "No, I doubt it." "Maybe he's going to-" "Oh frick what do I do" "Haru help me."

"Drink, Mako-chan~" you heard Nagisa say. Haruka was behind the duo, sighing and waiting for Makoto to just do what the little demon was telling him to. Haruka walked towards you and nodded. 

You were blushing a bright red. Heck, you could even beat the reddest tomato every grown!

Makoto sighed then just drank from the water fountain, not knowing that you were watching. Haruka held a bottle of water for you to drink, since you were really red at the moment. You looked at Haruka, gestured him to lean his ear towards you. You let out a yelp. 

"Did he just take my kiss?" you asked, your cheeks a furious red. Haruka nodded, and you swear you saw a ghost of a smirk on his lips. "Yes, he just did. Water?" he said, holding out the water bottle. You grabbed it quickly, and drank from it. You finished almost half of the water, then gave it back to Haruka. 

Haruka ran towards Makoto and Nagisa, giving the water bottle to Makoto. The giant didn't realise that you saw what happened and just looked at Haruka. "You're making me drink water too, Haru?" he asked. Haruka nodded, then glanced at you. Surprisingly, he gave you a wink. 

Makoto drank from the water bottle and then gave it back to Haruka. "There! Happy, you two?" said Makoto, playfully. Nagisa nodded, and Haruka rolled his eyes. He turned to you, and then pointed. Makoto looked at where he was pointing, and blushed. You blushed in response when he turned to you. 

Makoto walked towards you. "Did you...see what happened?" You nodded shyly. He laughed heartily, then looked at Nagisa and Haruka. "Did you, by chance...drink from the water fountain and the water bottle?"

You felt like you were sweating buckets already. Your crush was talking to you. You could scream already, but you didn't do that. You would be called to the principal's office. 

"Yes.." you said, quietly. You looked up at Makoto, since you were like, so small compared to him and saw him smile. You smiled sheepishly in response, and you felt Makoto's hand on your cheek. You felt your face warm up, then looked up at him again. 

This time, you were being kissed. Your eyes were wide open. You didn't know what was happening and you couldn't respond. 

Makoto pulled away, with a smile on his face. You looked at him shyly and tried to speak, but only broken sentences came out. He laughed and cupped your cheek again. "You look so cute _____, blushing like that." he said, looking at your (e/c) orbs.

"I...I.." were the words you managed to say. 

You fainted when he finished saying his next sentence. 

"I know you took my indirect kiss.."
